What is RegnbågsCafe Kristinehamn?
We work to create a safe meeting place for LGBTQ+ people, as well as their friends and relatives. All ages, regardless of orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression are warmly welcome!
RegnbågsCafe Kristinehamn is a non-profit organization. All the activities we carry out, we do without payment. In other words, it is our members who bake and work voluntarily. During café hours, there are always café hosts on site, whose tasks include acting as support for new visitors and answering questions.

Purpose and aim
Our aim and purpose is to work for a society characterized by diversity, openness and respect for people's differences, where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and age, should have equal rights and obligations, equal value and equal opportunities to live and work in the world. You can read our by-laws here.
We want to influence and conduct information activities to make the social climate more inclusive. Create a safe meeting place, carry out social activities and support activities, to the extent that the organization has opportunities and resources for people of all ages within LGBTQ+.
RegnbågsCafe Kristinehamn Registered Non-profit association works for everyone's equal rights and value. The association is politically and religiously independent.

About the venue
In our goal to be as inclusive as possible and open to everyone, we have a wheelchair accessible premises. Handicap parking space at the front next to the wheelchair entrance and accessible restroom.
Our premises are divided into different rooms, open entrance, TV with social hang, large playroom with board games, drawing and running around space at the back, kitchen coffee hang, smaller quiet reading room.
Parking is available at the back of the premises, free of charge after 18'00. Street parking free 24 hours

We want everyone to feel safe and have fun at our Café and meetings. To do that, we have some rules that we ask everyone to respect:
